A man was killed and a woman is in stable condition following a shooting outside the NYCHA Sheepshead Bay Houses on Halloween night.
Officers from the 61st Precinct and PSA1 arrived at 2932 Avenue V around 5:10 p.m. on Monday, October 31st where they found both victims with gunshot wounds. Police said Jamel Nicholson, 25, was shot in his chest and buttocks. Nicholson, a resident of East Flatbush, was rushed to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A 19-year-old woman suffered gunshot wounds to the chest, right knee and right hip. She was taken to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
