Breukelen resident Cynthia Jimenez – or “Boo’elen” as she prefers to call it – has outdone herself again this year. The Halloween-loving Canarsien has transformed the lawn outside her East 108th Street home into a ghoulish delight. Not only that, she decorates her first-floor hallway with ghost, goblins, witches and skeletons. She’s been creating the ghastly displays for over 20 years now, and neighbors – especially kids – love to stop by to enjoy her fright fest. We can’t wait to see what she does for Christmas. In the meantime, Cynthia says she hopes everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!
