On Wednesday, September 27, 2023, State Senator Roxanne Persaud hosted the Annual New York State 19th Senatorial District Power 19 Awards. This event celebrated and acknowledged the accomplishments and invaluable servitude of 19 extraordinary individuals to the Senate District. Senate District Power 19 commemorates those who have contributed to the district’s growth through service, socio-economic development, advocacy, academic excellence or community empowerment. These individuals have gone above and beyond in service to individual distinction, the community and the greater good.
