On Friday night, December 16th members of the Kings Plaza Canarsie Kiwanis Club and Millennium Development held their Winter Wonderland event at the Carmine Carro Community Center in Marine Park, located at 3000 Fillmore Avenue. Kids were greeted with a holiday movie, The Grinch, on a big screen inside of the building. Following the movie, there was a surprise visit from Santa Claus himself, who gave out gifts to all the good boys and girls on his “Nice List.” There were also refreshments and games to add to the festive holiday atmosphere.
The event was sponsored by Assemblywomen Jaime Williams, the Kiwanis Club, Millennium Development, Marine Park Alliance, Matrix Auto Collision and Matrix game truck extreme.
