Have you heard the latest scoop? Canarsie residents don’t have to travel all the way to Sheepshead Bay or Howard Beach to satisfy their craving for their favorite ice cream creations, like “Birthday Cake Remix” or “Somewhere Over the Rain-Dough,” now that Cold Stone Creamery opened its newest shop in the Georgetowne Shopping Center.
Although the shop opened a few months ago, Cold Stone Creamery celebrated with a Grand Opening Event on Saturday, and the first 50 customers received free ice cream! A DJ, face painter and balloon artist topped off the celebration.
Cold Stone Creamery has been around for over 30 years, serving the finest, freshest ice cream, cakes, smoothies and shakes, using high quality ingredients. If you have never been to a Cold Stone, you’re in for a treat. Crew members prepare custom ice cream creations on a frozen granite stone – and they will even sing to you! They like to call the experience a 10-Minute Vacation, “a getaway you deserve from the world outside their doors.”
