When it comes to keeping spirits bright, you don’t have to travel all the way to New York City’s highfalutin Radio City Music Hall for a colorful and whimsical show! Kids in our local schools are ringing in the holidays with some truly amazing talent.
On Friday, December 16th, 2nd graders at P.S. 115 Daniel Mucatel School, at 1500 East 92nd Street, put on a special winter show for all to enjoy. The Music Club, Step Team and Dance Team performed holiday classics with some sass and spunk, getting parents and teachers busting moves in the audience.
Some of the students recited holiday poems and odes to winter while the Second Grade Chorus belted out a tune about the coziness of drinking hot chocolate.
The show was a perfect kickoff to celebrate the holiday season, anticipate the arrival of snowy days and get ready for winter break.
