On Saturday, May 21st, the Bayview Community Center, located at 5955 Shore Parkway, hosted a Spring into Health event, in conjunction with Millennium Development, where folks from various health providers offered practical advice for adults and family members on how to stay safe from COVID, along with other helpful tips on dieting and exercise. COVID at-home test kits were provided free of charge as well as masks and hand sanitizers.
But that’s not all! There were lots of fun activities for everyone to try their hand at, ranging from pickleball and martial arts to archery lessons, which was the favorite of most including 69th Precinct Community Affairs Officer Sammy Maria.
It was a nice turnout and a fun afternoon for teenagers and adults alike.
