On Tuesday, August 22nd, State Senator Roxanne Persaud and staff hosted the SD-19 Annual Community Fun Day and Back-to-School Giveaway at Canarsie Park.
The event always gets a big turnout, and this year was no different. Hundreds of constituents from Senate District 19 enjoyed a day of entertainment, games, and food and refreshments. It was also an opportunity to gain important resources from the nearly 50 organizations that participated in the event.
