Last Thursday, the 69th Precinct Clergy Council, under the leadership of Reverend Cecil Moonsam, offered up prayers for the safety of our police officers in advance of the Labor Day holiday weekend, a time when the city could see a spike in crime. At the daily roll call, Assistant Chief Charles McEvoy, Patrol Borough Brooklyn South, also introduced the new commanding officer of the 69th Precinct, Captain Dion Hinds.
