The New York City Department of Sanitation announced that there would be no trash, curbside composting, or recycling collection on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026.
Residents who normally receive Monday trash, curbside composting, or recycling collection should place their material at the curb Monday evening for collection beginning Tuesday, September 8.
NOTE FOR ALL RESIDENTS: Collection delays may occur after a holiday. We appreciate patience as we work to collect the backlog of material.
