A very Happy Birthday to Ira Kluger, co-president of the Canarsie Historical Society! Ira is practically part of the Canarsie Courier family. Even though he doesn’t officially work here, we feel like he is part of our team. He has been a contributor to our newspaper for many years, writing Letters to the Editor and providing us with a vast amount of invaluable content on Canarsie’s history.
