The Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance Corps held a special memorial in remembrance of their late Captain, Joseph Marcellino, at its Annual Holiday Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, January 18th, at the Hudson River Yacht Club.
FVAC’s new Captain, Stuart Weiselberg, is pictured with the family of the late Joseph Marcellino. The first responder, who unfortunately passed away from COVID complications last November, served the Flatlands area for 44 years as an EMT and paramedic.
Co-workers and friends remembered Marcellino as a dedicated servant, always willing to help others, and as a mentor and friend to many.
Also pictured are members of the FVAC who received awards in recognition of their dedicated service last year.
