Elvis fans broke out their umbrellas and braved the stormy weather on Saturday evening, February 15th, to see Don Anthony perform the King of Rock and Roll’s greatest hits at the Floridian Plaza Diner, located at 2301 Flatbush Avenue.
The Chandelier Room Supper Club was bursting with eager diners, who came to enjoy the special Valentine’s Day show and were more than ready to join in on the fun. Elvis fans of all ages got on the dance floor to show off their moves and to learn new ones, as Anthony belted out hits like “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Viva Las Vegas,” “It’s Now or Never” and “The Wonder of You.” Together with his biggest fan and devotee – his lovely wife – who he affectionately dubbed the “Polish Princess,” Anthony distributed boxes of chocolates to all the ladies in attendance in honor of the romantic occasion.
Don Anthony will return to the Floridian Plaza Diner as Elvis for a special Mother’s Day show on Saturday evening, May 10th, so make your reservations early by calling (718) 377-7733. Diners seated in the Chandelier Room Supper Club for the performance order from a prix fixe menu at $35 per person, which includes a garden salad, choice of entrée and dessert.
