A 15-year-old male was arrested and charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon on Tuesday, August 29th in connection to the homicide of an East New York man.
Abdolaye Ba, 24, was shot in the head at 640 Blake Avenue around 3:25 p.m. on Monday, August 21st (see “Man Shot in Head in Critical Condition,” Canarsie Courier, August 24, 2023).
Ba was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition but died of his injuries on Thursday, August 24th.
The suspect’s name has not been released, as he is a minor.
