All across the city, Father’s Day events were celebrated in parks, at the beaches and at various venues. On Sunday, June 18th, one of the biggest Father’s Day celebrations in the city was held at Linden Park, located at Linden Boulevard and Vermont Street.
Hundreds of people came out to enjoy good barbeque and great music – the annual event has been going on since 2004. Although Juneteenth was officially celebrated on Monday, June 19th, it was also recognized over the entire holiday weekend.
