December 12, 2022

Assemblywoman Monique Chandler-Waterman gathered with members of the community at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Assembly District 58 office, located at 903 Utica Avenue, on Monday, December 5th.  The ribbon-cutting was followed by the illumination of “One Love Little Caribbean” Holiday Lights, representing love and giving off holiday vibes.

Assemblywoman Waterman thanked residents for their outpouring of support and urged the community to work together with local elected officials to get much-needed resources for the East Flatbush community. “It is not an I thing; it is a we thing.  We all must unite and fight for the resources we lack in our communities,” she said, as she wished all her constituents Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year.

The open house festivities continued with food, music and entertainment in the assemblywoman’s new office.  This is the first year holiday lights were lit up along Utica Avenue, between Church and Snyder Avenues.
