A fire broke out in a top floor apartment at 2915 Beverly Road between Nostrand Avenue and East 29 Street on Tuesday, Jan,4th. Firefighters arriving to heavy fire showing out the top floor window of an apartment just after 12:30 p.m. Units used two hose lines to combat the fire. Searches of the fire apartment yielded negative results. The fire was placed under control by 1:10 p.m.
