Over one million people lined the streets of Eastern Parkway on Monday, September 4th, as New Yorkers from all parts of the city wanted to get a glimpse of the beautiful costumes, sample delicious Caribbean food and dance to great Caribbean music. This could only mean one thing – the 2023 West Indian Day Parade was in full swing! The parade route started at Eastern Parkway and Ralph Avenue and made its way to Grand Army Plaza.
