A blizzard pummeled the Canarsie area, starting Friday afternoon and continuing all day Saturday. Freezing cold temps, heavy winds and snowfall swept through the area, blanketing the streets with approximately six to eight inches of fluffy snow, depending on where you live. Sheepshead Bay reported
