There were no tricks, just treats, at a garden party hosted for students on Thursday, October 27th, by teachers and staff at P.S. 276 Louis Marshall School, located at 1070 East 83rd Street.
The highlight of the party was a decorative pumpkin patch set up outside the school. Each grade, beginning with kindergarten, accompanied by their teachers, enjoyed frolicking in the garden and getting their pictures taken. The children carried their favorite storybooks and dressed up like the characters. Some teachers also joined the fun. “This is character day for them. They get to dress up like their favorite characters after reading and learning about them,” Principal Jennifer Troman told the Canarsie Courier.
