Bull’s Eye Sports Pub held their Annual Christmas Party and Comedy Show on Friday, December 15th, where donations, including cash and toys, were collected for the USMC Toys for Tots program.
Once again, the show was dedicated to comedian Otto Peterson whose groundbreaking ventriloquism act, along with his partner “George Dudley,” headlined shows at Bull’s Eye from 2008 to 2013 before Peterson passed away in 2014.
This year included the biggest lineup ever featuring (national) headliner Steve Marshall, whose unique, manic style brought the house down! He was joined by house favorites Rich Carucci, Sharon Simon, Joe Conte, Mike Jenkins, Johnny O, Kenny Michaels, Jake Lamarca (with “Louie”) and Mario Bosco, who dressed as a Christmas elf, delighting the crowd and helping the U.S. Marines collect toys throughout the evening.
Party attendees and bar patrons generously donated hundreds of toys and games, filling more than seven large containers. Bull Eye’s owner Lou Matteo along with corporate sponsors presented the Marines with checks totaling $1,000. Matteo said he was concerned that since most people bring toys for the younger children, there aren’t always enough for the older kids. The money collected that night allowed the Marines to target spending wherever they see fit.
It was a fun night filled with joy, laughter and most importantly donations for the kids!
