Students from local schools displayed their talent at a Youth Showcase outside the Carmine Carro Community Center in Marine Park on Wednesday, August 9th.
Presented by Millennium Development, kids from area schools, including Roy H. Mann, I.S. 278 Marine Park and Cunningham performed dance routines for spectators and concertgoers who were waiting to see the M.A.S. Swing Band, one of the weekly concerts, which are part of the Marine Park Summer Concert Series.
The event was supported by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development/SONYC, Councilwoman Mercedes Narcisse and Community Board 18 District Manager Sue Ann Partnow.
