Christmas spirit was in full swing at the Carmine Carro Community Center, at 3000 Fillmore Avenue, on Saturday, December 6th, where hundreds of children lined up for their photo with Santa — along with arts and crafts, holiday activities and plenty of festive treats.
At creative tables, children gathered to make Christmas ornaments while hot chocolate, cookies and juice were provided for all to enjoy. A festive Christmas backdrop offered families the perfect spot for that holiday picture with Santa.
The “Festival of Lights: Santa in the Park” was the first event of December, sponsored by the Marine Park Alliance. There are more family-friendly events scheduled throughout the holiday season. Visit marineparkalliance.org/events for more information.
