Golden Age’ Broadway Classics Performed at Triple Promise Academy

November 14, 2025

Vol. 105 No. 47

Old things are new again at Triple Promise Academy for the Performing Arts in the heart of Bay Ridge!

The canon of American musical theatre dates back nearly a century. But this heritage is too often ignored in education, which tends to repeat just the flashiest productions of the last few years. Yet Triple Promise recognizes the learning and entertainment potential in continuing to produce the Golden Age classics, including their phenomenal July 2025 production of Cole Porter’s classic Anything Goes and their upcoming performance of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!

Audiences have been stunned by the supreme artistry of these young performers, and parents are thrilled their children are exposed to great art from ages past! Bay Ridge mom Melissa Lavin raved, “I’m thrilled my son is experiencing shows from the Golden Age! He is learning the shows that paved the way for his current favorites, such as Six and Wicked. Triple Promise is broadening his horizons, one show-stopping number after another!”

Even parents with professional acting backgrounds are raving about these shows and programs. Emily Epstein shared, “As a Broadway actress myself, Triple Promise is the only place I’d send my daughter. I love that she’s learning from the greats. It’s so important to study the classics in any art form; that’s where true artistry begins.”

And it’s not just the parents who are tapping their toes; the kids are just as wild about all this jazz! Eleven-year-old Triple Promise student Elyse Mahaley told us, “When you are on stage with your friends performing shows from the Golden Age, you FEEL golden!!!!”
