Seventy-five families were served a hearty Thanksgiving meal at the Flatlands Reformed Church, 3931 Kings Highway, on Thanksgiving Day.
It is Pastor Paul Glover and his wife Jill’s vision to serve the community again since the COVID-19 pandemic, and it was all made possible with the support of community leaders, the 63th Precinct, the HCC (Haitian Community Coalition) and the Flatlands Community Partnership. With two separate seatings, a team of volunteers served a total of 75 families.
Flatlands Reformed Church would like to recognize all who helped make their Thanksgiving Community meal a success! Thank you to the NYPD 63rd Precinct, 63rd Precinct Community Council, Flatlands Community Partnership, Halsey Bar & Grill, Michael’s of Brooklyn and medical students from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
