Two bandits broke into a Canarsie home while the family was not home and stole thousands of dollars of jewelry, clothing and accessories last month.
The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the two men who used a crowbar to gain access to the home in the vicinity of Avenue J and East 87th Street, around 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 15th, according to police sources. The family has lived in Canarsie for over 30 years and are hoping that justice will be served.
The thieves entered the rear of the home and took various jewelry, clothing and accessories totaling approximately $35,800, police said. The crooks then fled the scene in a black BMW sedan.
