A Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was held on Thursday, December 8th, inside the Carmine Carro Community Center in Marine Park, kicking off the 2022 Festival of Lights, the first of five holiday events held by Marine Park Alliance and NYC Parks.
Talented students from P.S. 207, P.S. 222, I.S. 278 Marine Park and Dance with Me, a local dance school, performed different shows for the adoring crowd. Prior to the performance, youth helped decorate and light up a hearty evergreen tree in Christmas tradition!
The event was held in conjunction with Millennium Development and the Bergen Beach Youth Organization.
