On Monday, October 10th, production crews were back on East 95th Street, between Avenues K and L, for the filming of the third season of the popular TV series, Godfather of Harlem, which premiered on Epix in September 2019.
Workers could be seen leaving props in front of a house, including some burned mattresses and damaged furniture. An old fire engine from Orange County was also on scene, along with three actors dressed as firemen – one with an axe. Word has it that the crew was prepping for a scene that involved someone throwing a Molotov Cocktail through the window of the home.
The entire street was transformed into the 1960s, complete with a classic NYPD patrol car.
Sources informed the Canarsie Courier that this was the last week of filming for Season 3 and that fans can look forward to a Season 4.
