Kings Plaza, Brooklyn’s premiere shopping destination, hosted a Job Fair on the upper level of the mall, near Best Buy, on Monday, October 10th.
Hundreds of applicants waited on line, seeking positions at some of the mall’s restaurants and popular stores, like Macy’s, Zara and Primark. Retail positions, as well as management positions, were available at Monday’s event. The job fair also offered opportunities with organizations like the FDNY, NYPD, Suffolk County Police Department, the U.S. Army and more.
Area Senior Manager of Marketing at Kings Plaza Dawn Simon was on hand to welcome job seekers, hoping to find either permanent employment or seasonal employment during the upcoming busy holiday shopping season.
The annual Job Fair was held in partnership with State Senators Roxanne Persaud and Kevin Parker, Assemblywoman Jaime Williams and Councilwomen Mercedes Narcisse and Farah Louis.
