Feeling cooped up while working remote all day? A little stiff from sitting at the computer for hours? Stretch your muscles and enjoy the outdoors at a free yoga class in Marine Park!
Over 15 people attended the first class of the season, sponsored by Assemblywoman Jaime Williams and State Senator Andrew Gounardes, on June 30th. Word must have spread because there were at least 40 people in attendance at the next class, on July 14th. The classes, which meet every other Thursday through August 25th, are led by yoga instructor Cathy Dews.
A little rusty on your downward dog? Not a problem! This class is suitable for all levels, and beginners are welcome. The next class is Thursday, July 28th. Meet by the flagpole near the Carmine Carro Community Center, 3000 Fillmore Avenue.
